Initial Meeting(s)
The
opportunity for Critchfield Construction, Inc. to gather the
information necessary to develop a scope of work of the overall project. Information
gathered at this stage includes:
- Description of project from homeowner
- Digital photographs
- Measurements
- Feasibility – access, overhead clearance, sewer/leach lines, neighbors
- Material selections
- Timing and budget concerns
Project Definition
Outline
entire scope of work for the project including a high level budget
and project plan.
Proposal Development
Upon
client’s approval of the scope of work, budget and initial timeline,
Critchfield Construction invests our resources in the development of
detailed specifications for the work required. Depending upon
the scope of the project, approved construction documents may be required
to create an accurate statement of work. During proposal development,
fixed cost bids for all subcontracted work and materials are procured
so that a fixed cost proposal for the project can be presented.
Client Review
A
meeting to review the proposal, and incorporate any additional requirements
or changes, prior to client approval.
Client Acceptance
Acceptance
of the proposal. Client provides approval to proceed to contract.
Contract Development
Outlines
the finalized statement of work, cost and payment schedule and
all the state approved terms and conditions of the project.
Project Plan
Details
all implementation issues, tasks, reports, drawings, permits,
and site-specific issues.
Project Launch
Construction
of the project based upon the contract. Inspections are performed
as required throughout the life of the project.
Project Completion
All
inspections by building officials complete, customer and Critchfield
Construction, Inc. perform final walk-through. Client accepts.
10-year Warranty
A 10 year period from project completion for any defects in workmanship to be corrected at no charge.
