Company History
Critchfield Construction, Inc. was formed in 1994 to meet the need for highly skilled contractors to work on homes in the mountains above Los Gatos—a demanding environment requiring specialized expertise.
In the beginning, we concentrated on small residential room remodels and deck/fence construction. By providing consistently high-quality results—and 100% customer satisfaction—we've grown rapidly and today we provide a full range of design/build construction services for projects large and small.
Our success is due largely to our outstanding core team of employees and our extended team of trusted subcontractors. All of our subcontractors have been performing top-quality work on our jobs for many years. They are, quite simply, the best.
We are also grateful to our clients. Fully 90 percent of our new projects come to us through customer referrals.
Owner Ricky J. Critchfield is a licensed General Contractor, regulated by the California State Department of Consumer Affairs. He has earned a Bay Area-wide reputation as a no-nonsense, no-problem builder and remodeling contractor—and is recognized for his commitment to making home improvement safe his customers.
